Relax, Visualize, and Commit

How to Lower My Golf Score, here are some tips from a fellow golfer on practicing midfullness to fixing your head zone:
The Problem: I found myself not focussing on the game, getting frustrated and angry at times, and in addition overthinking what I was doing.
The Outcome: As a concequence, this resulted in bad shots, both off the tee, from the fairways (and the woods), and not being able to putt for toffee.
Why do I need to focus on this: Above all a calm mind and clear visualization increase focus and reduce tension leading to better shots, leading to lower my golf score overall.
Simple Tip: Before every shot, take a deep breath, visualize the ball’s flight and landing spot, and commit fully. Finally, stay relaxed, trust your swing, and avoid overthinking.
What Resources Helped me: I found various books (and audiobooks) have helped me get to grips to lower my golf score covering aspects of the game including how to make one’s mind an ally rather than an enemy: how to stay calm, clear the interference that leads to bad shots, and eliminate bad habits and mental mistakes. Authors Note:
Have you been frustrated with your game lately, are you getting annoyed on the course and frustrated afterwards. You know you can play better than this.
Are you inconsistent, one hole you can hit the ball miles, then next hole its into the bushes barely 10 feet from the tee. Do you look envious at the others in you group thinking why can’t I do that, they make it look so easy.
Then I know how you feel and let me share some of my journey with you.
Hi I’m Rich and I’m happy to share my golf tips with you. I’m a bogey handicapper (That’s 18 for you who didn’t know). I took up golf not that long ago after a long absence to spend more time with my children and being Dads Taxi taking them from one activity to the next. I started back at 27, but after applying these tips I’m not down to 18.

Zen Golf is abook that I listened to whilst I walked my dog. It helped me introduce a routine, get focussed in the mind, relax and enjoy my golf again. There are many chapters that focus on different areas of the game and explains how to enhance your performance by getting rid of negative thoughts and gitting into the right frame of mind for golf. I do go back to this book now and again for a refresh when I feel i'm lapsing. A fantastic go to manual to sort out your mindfulness when playing golf.
